Doing Good in Many Ways
Education and research are important focus areas for Koch family foundations and
philanthropy. The Charles Koch Foundation provides grants to more than 180
colleges and universities across the U.S. These funds are used for research fellowships,
seminars, course development, guest lectures and other projects that explore how the
principles of free enterprise and classical liberalism promote a more peaceful and
prosperous society. Florida State University, shown here, is a Charles Koch
Foundation grant recipient.
